Aldersgate’s United Methodist Women are a community of women with a purpose to know God and experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ. We want to develop a creative supportive fellowship, to expand concepts of mission as we participate in the global ministries of the UM church.
VISION: To turn Faith, Love, Hope into action on behalf of women, children and youth around the world.
Biblical Foundation: We follow in the tradition of women like Ruth – who not only spoke of love to her mother-in-law, but acted on it. Ruth was a foreigner who did not know the God her mother-in-law worshiped. However, by staying with Namoi and following God’s way, Ruth provided comfort and hope for a new future. The story of Ruth is a story of faith, love and hope in action.
